Low disk space on Vista Home Premium

Each time I start up Windows Vista: Home Premium an error message comes up saying that it has low disk space preventing me from connection to the internet. When I check "My Computer" desktop everything's saved the C: drive (recovery partition) which is 10GB, but everything saved to the D: drive (OS) over 53GB which is suppose to be vice versa. How do I trouble shoot this?

Use partitioning software, like AOMEI Partition Assistant to extend the volume which is running out of space: http://www.disk-partition.com/resource/free-partition-magic-for-windows7.html

Laptop C partition low disk space

Make sure your hard disk has enough space. Most often when the error massage comes it will tell you how much free space is required to install the game look keenly and know how much space is required then either move all media files mainly video files especially downloaded in the download folder to an alternative partition and only leave windows and installed program on Local Disk C. Other wise if your hard disk capacity is very small then am afraid that you will have to get a bigger hard disk.

This couldn't be due to a malfunctioning fan, or any other hardware problem, it certainly sounds like a virus but it's hard to know. I advise using this guide t try and remove any viruses or malware.

First question is do you have the vista disk ? If so , here are the steps to repair. Insert disk ....instead of selecting install vista , after the language selection box , select repair a menu will then be shown with the options you can choose from , choose start-up repair , this will repair missing files or disk errors. once selected no more input is needed from you. Hope this helps !
