You need to run system recovery because your windows might have been affected otherway.

if you do not have the recovery disc anymore, you can use an xp or vista disc to replace your current system operator nor in that way try not to formatt but rather ingore such message as it will make you loose all your data.

if you need actual prompt on this, please feel free to send me acomment and i will gladly attend to it.

thank you,

wonder

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

try booting in SAFE MODE. To do it, while starting windows, press F8 and you will be prompted for boot options. Choose SAFE MODE and login as an administrator.

In safe mode, you can uninstall some program especially the newly installed ones which might caused your system to freeze.

Restart after every changes that you make and see if it helps. Also, dont forget to make a restore point at every critical thing you do.

Installing new OS

Every laptop is accompanied by a preinstalled vesion of Windows, on the same hard disk in a hidden space. So if you get a prompt to restore your laptop to a previous state at the beginning of system startup, press the relevant key. If windows xp is your choice. and want to install it you may need follow the installation instruction from your system manufacturer. When the system starts up some information is displayed on the screen, like this: " Press F1 to enter setup" If you press the relevant key and enter the BIOS setup you can find the CPU temperature settings, shutdown temperature etc... This may not be you case. So I suggest you to get support from a qulified technician. Your system hardware should have some problem. (motherboard or hard disk is more prone to error) you can also try to find information from your system vendor's manuals and support website. All the best
