Get on their website and check out their recommendation for the right injectors to replace your lpg injectors. delonghi is not a 'fly-by-night' company. they're well known & well respected! make sure you include your model#, and perhaps, serial# when you contact them!
good luck!

How do you convert from gas to propane ?

You need to change the jets , different gasses have a different size hole in the jet.
The manufacture supplies other jets, if the appliance is designed for both gasses.
LP (propane) jets have a smaller hole than Natural (Methane) Gas.
The pressure of LP gas is higher, to be able to suck in more oxygen.

Tip

Changing your gas appliance from natural gas to LP or vice versa.

You have an LP gas stove which you really like and would like to take to a new home but the new home has a natural gas hookup. Since natural gas is already available it would be convenient to be able to use it. Can you convert your unit over to work on natural gas?

Yes it is possible to convert any LP gas appliance to natural gas or from natural gas to LP. The only difference is the size of the orifice used in the burner.

LP gas is composed of a much larger molecule than natural gas and requires a larger orifice to output the same amount of gas as a natural gas unit at the same setting. Therefore if you used an LP stove on natural gas it would produce too much heat and burn rather intensely. If you used a natural gas stove on LP it would not have much flame at all. You can see the problem. The solution is also obvious. You need the correct orifice.

Changing the orifice is easy. It is located in the middle of the burner and unscrews out of the unit. Install the new one the opposite way. Do not overtighten it.Usually the burners are made of soft metal and can strip easily.

The parts you would need are available at most good appliance stores but I would recommend the following site http://www.repairclinic.com . The parts will be cheaper at repairclinic. They have parts for almost any brand and a great search engine. They also have excellent videos showing how to make the repair.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating.

Convert lp natural gas

To convert a lincoln LP gas oven to a natural gas, you actually first of all need to buy from the supplier an orifice ment for natural gas and change. The difference in the orifices could be in the size of orifice aperture.
The orifice i'm talking about is located in the burner assembly. you got to dis assemble the burner so as to get to it.
After that you need to adjust the main gas manifold when the oven is on. The adjustment must be done such that the pilot flame is not yellowish

I have a Sears Kenmore Elite 790 hooked up to propane .. is it ok to have it hooked up to propane or is this over for natural gas only?

Kenmore Gas ranges can be used with Natural gas or Lp. They come from the factory set up for Natural gas so if you want to use Lp it needs to be converted by you or your gas company. There are several adjustments that have to be made and some ranges require orifices to be changed. Your installation manual tells how to convert it but if you're not sure about doing it you would be better off the call the gas man.

We need to change the natural gas jets to LPG jets in our ovens. We have 2 stoves and we need to change the jets on the burners and the ovens. Can you please advise of where we are able to purchase...

If you are looking to change jets on this site, then my advice to you would be to get a professional to do it. The last thing that you wiould want, (I think) would to be responsible for the accidental death of the people that you care about, either from a gas leak, CO2, poisoning, or an explosion. Jets are not a hrad thing to do, and for the price of taking it into a repair man, is worth the peace of mind that there is no chance of it killing someone you truly love.

Change gas oven from natural gas to lpg gas.. where can we purchase the conversions kit?

Hi!!
Look in the back of the unit, most ovens have the conversion kit and instruction manual on them. If not, most hardware stores or appliance parts stores carry the kit.
Good Luck!! Don't forget to rate this post!!

Hi i cant find a parkinson cowan built in gas cooker

Used or brand new? In which country?

You won't find them new in shops as they're no longer made. But you *might* find a NOS (New, Old Stock) Alto GM60 from an online stockist, but the manufacturer's guarantee will be worthless and some spare parts will already be difficult/impossible to obtain. You'll also need to check before purchase whether it's for natural gas, lpg, butane or propane.

All late (approx. 1990 onwards) Parkinson Cowan models had appalling build quality and frequent electronic faults, so I strongly advise that you look for a current brand.
