This sander is used in a machine shop. We can make the parts ourselves although I found the parts sheet and ordered the items from the company. Thanks for your help.

Palm sander not vibrating

Only real way to find out what is wrong is to open it up on this one. They are mostly plastic parts and you will probably find the broken part or where a gear is worn out.

Can i optain a new bearing block for a craftsman pad sander # 315.11650

Try ereplacementparts.com Would be the most likely source. Outside of that, if it is a simple plastic piece and you really want to keep that sander, you could reverse engineer it and have a machine shop make one for you. might just be easier to get another sander a that point though. I just bought one at a local auction for $5.

Parts manual sander model 315.11751

Confused:

"Problem with Riding Mowers & Garden Tractors"

"Parts manual sander model 315.1175"

"Need large plastic driven gear for dust impeller"

So is this a mower/tractor? ... If it's a manual sander, why does it have a gear, driven by plastic, for a dust impeller? Who is the manufacturer of said ambiguous item?

Have you contacted the manufacturer?

Parts

I have the same sander, and cannot get parts anymore, so I carefully cut out a piece of sheet metal, and drilled holes, and put it on. so it might not say stanley, but who cares? I don't. and if it doesn't last as long, who cares. its more help than I got from stanley, who was bought out in 1973 from what I read.

Sander stops

There can be a few problems. First is your air supply the right pressure and volume for the sander. Check that at the quick connector to the sander itself. Second, if it is cold and moisture is high, ice can get into the sander which will slow it way down. Third, and probably most likely cause, is the sander well oiled and the parts inside clean. Fourth, mechanical issues: the drive motor may be well worn out inside, the bearing that the main shaft for the sander may be worn out & so forth. Hope this helps you, Rick

Craftsman 3x21 plastic front roller needs replacing

Do you know anyone with a metal lathe or that works in a machine shop? If you do ask them if they can make the rollers for you out of metal. Or else find a machine shop and ask them to make you new rollers.

Broken plastic gear tooth - Fellowes P55-C Shredder

I suggest using Belzona (metal compound). Mix it with its hardner, paste it over the broken gear (dont worry if it gets over a couple of other gears. Let Belzona sink and dry (4-5hours). Get a Dremel drill with a fine blade on it and cut accurately where the teeth are meant to be. Voila, you have fixed your gear.
