Cambridge soundworks speakers
my speakers are cambridge soundworks (7 yrs old) everything is hooked up correctly but there is no sound. How do I know if its the speakers or my sound card?

- I moved my computer around in the room and now it states that my sound device is not hooked up put it is and when I unhook my speakers from the back of my pc then go to hook it back up and makes a whistling or hummimg sound. Well, easy task, just put a music CD, on system and if you got an headphones, put in the green connector on your sound card, pop up the PC volume, and see if you heard sound, if you do, heard sound then the problem is your speakers. if don't is your sound card.
