ok well first things first laptop or desktop ? if its the same as mine you will need to try and install a older version of the driver the new one for some wicked reason will not work. try looking here http://www.broadcom.com/products/Wireless-LAN/802.11-Wireless-LAN-Solutions also have you just changed to a diffrent platform xp to vista ?or what ever ..

Try a few things first:
1. Make sure the card is fully seated in your machine. 2. Reboot your computer 3. Power off your system and remove the battery from your laptop for a few moments. Reinsert, boot up and try again. 4. Insert and re-insert your card. 5. Make sure you have the latest updates to your Operating System. 6. Check your Device Manager. Does it show up at all, or is there a exclamation mark? If there is nothing after you try the above steps, your card may be failing or have failed; if there is an exclamation mark, there may be a resource conflict.
If you have that exclamation mark, search your problem on Google, and try something along these lines:

Reinstall the drivers that came with it or goto the manufacturers website and download them from there
