I have a Sony DCR-HC36 Handy Cam and i just ejected a tape and now the new one won't latch when it is pushed in, it won't stay in even with no tape. We have done the unplug the power source, beat on the bottom of the cam corder and reset the reset button. The small yellow arrow flashes and the screen states that the power supply needs to be attached even though it is attached. The error code is C:32:11. We have read the error messages for C32 11, but there is no condensation anywhere and we have left if open for more than 1 hr to no avail. Please help if you can. We are desperate!!!!!!

Hello,
Have you taken a look at Sony's support site? Here's the link for your camera. http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=DCRHC36
Choose your computer's operating system and then the software from the drop downs. Then click the download link from the list below.

hold reset with batt on cam. then place on wall charger. back and forth till it ejects tape fully. if this doesnt work flat rate to send in usually is about 250
Chech batt. power and do not press hard when instaling new tape. If the tape doesn't slide in smoothly make sure you have the tape faceing the right didection.
