Hotpoint G-157 washer

My washer just started leaking water. The outgoing water hose into the wash sink are okay. Looks like a cup or two come out from under the machine. How do I remove the top so I can look inside?

Re: hotpoint G-157 washer

Get a small putty knife facing the machine insert it about 2 inches from the edge in the little crack between the top and body of the washer push in while lifting the top you should feel the spring that should get the top up but prob you have a leaking tub seal

Hotpoint Aquarius Extra washer dryer WD64 will not drain water. Spin works ok.

Was it working before? You may have a blocked outlet hose. Try taking it off under the sink to look for a blockage. You could also try getting some water in from that end with another hose to see if it comes out into the machine. If it is not a blocked hose, then the pump may be faulty.

Hotpoint Aquarius wms38 1200spin Machine fills with water after wash cycle is finished and it is turned off

If the water is coming in after cycle has finished, then it is 1 of 2 possibilities.
1- A faulty inlet valve, replace it.
2-Water is syphoning back from the sink if it is connected to the sink waste outlet pipe, raise washer outlet hose higher up to solve problem

Hi, I'm looking for help with my hotpoint wmf740 washing machine.

A couple of possibilities here.
It could be a sticking water inlet valve, or water syphoning back into washer if the drain outlet hose is joined into the sink waste outlet.

To check which it is, turn off the water supply to the washer and leave for a day or two, if no water comes in, then it is a sticking inlet valve which will have to be replaced.
If water still comes in after turning it off to the washer, then it is the waste outlet pipe that will need to be lifted up higher to prevent water coming back into washer from sink waste.
Please rate my solution.

Water leaking at rear

It is probably the hose washer or crimp thai is leaking.
I would suggest that you replace the hose to be on the safe side.

H20 fault is flashing on my hotpoint washing machine all connections are correct but still the machine will not fill with water?

H20 does indicate no fill.
Make sure that that there is an adequate supply pressure to washer, check that there are no kinks or restrictions in hose/s.
To be certain if you have an adequate supply turn off water valve to washer, disconnect hose and hold the hose into the sink or a bucket, turn the water back on, and see what the pressure is like..
If ti is too low, thjn the valve will not operate properly..
If you are satisfied it is o/k then it is quite likely a valve fault, also check the filter built into the valve inlet.

Hello sir,i have a kenmore series 90 washer & dryer.this specific machine has top dispensing detergent/bleach&softner.when it becomes time for the softner to be dispensed on the re-fill the machine...

PLease check the hose that goes from the INLET VALVE to the dispensing system cup on your washer. This hose probably has a hole or the plastic dispensor is cracked and therefore leaking.
The inlet valve is working and when the time comes the water goes to the dispensing cup, so the system is working it is just the hose, dispensing cup or both.

Water leaking through detergent tray of my Hotpoint WF860

It sounds like the washer is not draining properly.

Remove lower rear cover of washer, locate and remove the large black hose fastened to bottom of tub.
remove plastic filter inside hose, and clean same.
Refit filter and hose, making sure it is on properly.
Be careful when you remove the hose, as there will be water in there.
As an extra precaution, remove soap draw, and thoroughly clean all parts, particularly, the conditioner parts
Please rate my fixya solution.

Hotpoint aquarious + flashing H 20 on display

H20 is indicating that you have no water coming in.
Check water is turned on,check hose(s) are not kinked, and finally check inlet valve.
If you are not sure if there is water to m/c, turn the tap off, disconnect the hose(s), and hold over sink and turn tap back on, water should come out, if it does not, then there is a prob with the supply.
Plz rate my solution.

Sounds like the water is syphoning away due to the drain outlet hose being too low..Raise the hose higher, and this should solve the poroblem.
