Question about Hitachi DZ-MV580A DVD Camcorder
Take the DVD out of the plastic case used to hold it in the Cam. Put the DVD in a DVD drive (mine is on the laptop). Find the file .VRO and download it to a folder. Change the file .VRO to .MPG. Should open with Windows Media Player. This is quick and dirty and I'm sure there's a better solution out there, but it's working for me. Regards

I am having the same issue. Doug, this sounds like a good idea but I cannot get my laptop to recognize the mini disk. Is there a way to explore the contents?

Has anyone found a solution to this? It seems Hitachi has not released software/drivers to work with Vista :(
