Check your exhaust duct - the long tube that goes from the back of your dryer to the vent outside. It may be clogged with lint.

Dryer no heat blowing cool air I already clean the filter

You have one of 3 problems. No gas, high limit switch problem or motor circuit is broken. You will need a professional LG technician to diagnose the problem.
Good luck

Lg dlg 7188rm gas dryer will not heat

Check to make sure that the thermal fuse is not blown. Small plastic piece with 2 wires coming off of it. Typically this is problem.

Dryer will not heat. Checked the ventilation and breaker. What else could it be?

The igniter or the gas valve. Both are on the bottom right in front of the machie. You will need to remove the lid and front panel to get to them. To test them take the door switch out of the door, plug it back in, and have someone hold it while you watch the igniter. It should glow almost white. If it does not check to see if it is getting power, If it is not getting power your might have an issue with the control board. If it is getting power replace it.

Gas dryer runs but no heat

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Please check the things that could stop a gas dryer from heating:

- Glow bar igniter, thermal fuse (not all models), coils on the gas valve, gas valve, thermostats, motor, timer, selector switch, sensor.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

LG DLG2524W DRYER WORKS FINE EXCEPT DOESN'T HEAT UP

1. Open dryer door and remove the phillips head screws at the 5 and 7 O'Clock positions. 2. Remove three screws at very back, allowing top cover to be moved back about an inch and lifted off. 3. remove screw at top left and top right from front top panel. 4. pull plastic front panel along top edge to release front top panel. (watch for sharp edges) 5. Swing top up and over onto top of dryer. 6. Unplug light and door switch. 7. remove four screws at top of large lower panel. 8. lift panel up a bit and off. 9. unplug sensor plug at bottom allowing panel with door to be set aside. 10. gas dryer has dime sized high limit thermostat on left front side of burner chamber. Has two wires on it, with a small pin in the center. Push the pin in. Reassemble and clean out vent, eliminating flexible venting, replacing with rigid aluminum piping and elbows. Outside vent should have a four inch vent flap opening, not just a two inch if it is that style.

LG DRYER DLE2532W DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

DLE2532W is an electric heat model. (a gas model would be a DLG......) To get a rear control LG dryer apart: Open door and remove two phillips head screws at the 5 and 7 o'clock positions. Use a putty knife to release the clips holding the top panel to the dryer front by pushing the clips in at the seam of the dryer top and front, a couple inches in from each side. Swing top back. Remove two phillips head screws at the top, allowing front panel to pull forward. Unplug drum light and door switch and drum sensor plugs, allowing front panel to be completely removed and set aside. Now, look at the burner area at the lower right. Behind the gas valve you will find a small (about dime sized) high limit thermostat on the left side of the burner cone. It has two wires attached and has a small pin in the center of it. (Only on gas models) Push the pin in.
Now, if that get's you ignition again, CORRECT VENTING ! Get rid of flexible vent material. (use only rigid aluminum vent pipe and elbows) Clean out vent pipes and outside vent hood. Outside vent hood should be the kind with a four inch flap for the opening, not a two inch flap. Tripping of the high limit thermo is almost always caused by inadequate air flow.
