It sounds like the mouse is not shutting off as it should when the USB adapter is being stored.

If the mouse is less than a year old, take it back to where you bought it as faulty and ask for a replacement.

If it's older, you'll have to take the batteries out each time you finish using it. I know this is a pain, but small, modern electronic devices just arent designed to be repaired ! Sorry.

How do I connect my Logitech wireless mouse to my computer

I use Logitech wireless mice and so does my wife. After a battery change you have to reconnect the mouse with the wireless receiver
. First push the button on the receiver, then push the button on the bottom of the mouse. It should connect and you will be ready to go. If this doesn't get the mouse working, you may have to unplug the mouse, then plug it back in the USB port, then reconnect to the receiver. Hope that helps.

Have plugged the USB into my netbook but the mouse will not work, there is a red light at the back that is on. It says it is working properly but does nothing.

If this is a USB style wireless mouse make sure you have good batteries in the mouse, then there should be a little red button on the bottom of the mouse that says connect, click that and hold it down for about 2 seconds then let go and see if that works.

My usb wireless mouse receiver displays a red light on the far right on what appears to be a picture of a battery. The green light lights up the number 9 on the left. WHAT DOES THE RED LIGHT MEAN? I don't...

I just had the same problem. If you look at the picture carefully, it's the mouse & the red light means you need to change the battery in your mouse. The picture just to the left of mouse picture is the keyboard so if that turns red, then you need to change the batteries in your keyboard.

The red light in the mouse is 'ON' even the computer is switched off.How can I stop the red light in the mouse? Is my mouse is malfunctioning?

No, the usb feed coming from computer to mouse is keeping the light on. check for the usb port as around 5v of current flows across it...

Laptop wont sense wireless mouse

1. Check to see if there is a Connect Sync Button (small) on the bottom of the Mouse. Probably one one the USB Receiver as well... press both at the same time or within 10 seconds.
2. Or Try a different USB Port.
3. Make sure you see the Laser Mouse Red Light at the bottom... if not check battery positions.

I need to know how to sync the mouse to the usb..????

1. Insert the batteries into the mouse.

2. Plug the USB stick into the port in your computer.

3. Turn the mouse on (switch is on the bottom).

4. To sync the mouse with your computer, press and hold the button on the bottom left-hand side of the mouse. Then, press and hold the button on the USB stick immediately after.

Note: The button on the mouse is very hard to find. Look at the sticker that is on the bottom, and to the left of it is a very tiny button.

5. Once you press the button on the USB stick, the red light will begin blinking. Hold both buttons simultaneously until the red light begins to blink noticeably faster, then let go.

Note: This is hard to do so be patient with yourself if you can't do it on the first try.

Changed battery and still does not work - hear pinging in computer

There are buttons on the transmitter/receiver and the mouse(small red on bottom). Turn off the mouse. Plug in the USB Tx/Rx and hold down the button. Then press the red button on the mouse and hold for one second. Do this until the rapidly flashing light on the Tx/Rx slows down. The unit's frequencies are then encoded/decode and can communicate.

Unable to sync Belkin wireless travel mouse

Hate to say this without sounded silly.. but we had these problems, and could not sync mouse with PC. THEN.. I read directions slowly, again.. and figured out.. it is the BOTTOM of the mouse we were not doing. There is a button UNDER the mouse you push.. not the bottons on top. (BOTTOM LEFT side it says). We were clicking the top, bottom of the button. Anyway.. just make sure you turn mouse over. :)

Logitec wireless mouse isn't working

If you mean the Infra red light at the bottom of the mouse is not working, then the mouse is defective. If it is under warranty, you can try to get an RMA. If not under warranty, then I'm afraid you'll have to get a new one (would be cheapest).
