Question about Heating & Cooling
I have a window unit airconditioner that is about 3 years old. I always maintenance it have it set on energysaver. I have to admit that I always have it running, even in the winter sometimes.
It works great but I noticed that it recently started dripping in the back. It drips to the ground, which is fine but I am wondering why all of a sudden it started doing that. It has been dripping more and more with a mud puddle right underneath it.
Should I be concerned? Is this normal. Do I need to get it repaired?
It is normal for it to drip. The drain hole might be stopped up and the water had to reach another level before it started to dreip. Check the drain hole and make shureit isn't clogged. If you see a little buton like piece, see if it can be removed.
