Hah! You did not mention that before. You could be out of luck.Have you already tried removing the memory card and battery for a couple of minres than reinserting them...with battery fully charged? If you dropped it with the lens extended, it could probably only be repaired by the manufacturer, but if it is not an old model, may still be worth it. At least you could finish up with a good camera for a modest cost. If you have had it for a while that might not be cost effective as camera prices have been falling a lot so there may be better cheaper ones around now.
