Question about Fossil Philippe Starck PH1035 Wrist Watch

Open Question

PH 1080 model: when I turn on the backlight every dial turns to 8

I have a PH 1080 model, when I turn on the backlight the watch won't show me the correct hour, instead all the digits will turn to 8 (for example if the hour it's 14:35 when I turn the light on the hour displayed will be 88:88 and the same happens to the date). After the back light is off everything goes back to normal.

No image. No backlighting. No sound. No image when flashlight test is performed.

Hello Linda, have you plugged it in and turn it on? I have never heard of a flashlight test, sounds promising!! Have a look for a reset button hold on for 10 seconds see if that works, Cheers Greg.

Alarm won't turn off on Zoo York watch.

I have a different model but this solution came up in Google and it didn't work. On mine, I tried the following: press MODE. It will show the alarm time. Then press ST/SP a few times until the little alarm icon does not show on the alarm face. If you press RESET instead of ST/SP, it will start blinking and will want you to change the alarm time instead.

I purchased a Cote d' Azur watch & necklace set on a cruise ship recently, and can't seem to set the other three functions on the watch. There is only one pin but there are three addtional...

One of the dials should be seconds so you won't be setting that, the other two should be day and date, when you pull the stem and crown all the way out you can set the time there is a halfway setting ( pull the stem halfway out) if you turn one way it's the day of the week the other way is the date. Hope this helps! Also what appears to be a second hand on the dial a lot of times is actually a stopwatch.

My wrist watch has been in a drawer for over a year. I want to wear it now. the time shows 6;13 and the date shows 8: 16. It is running correctly. How do I set it foe the correct time and date?

First you need to unscrew the crown (setting knob) of the watch. Turn dial from up to down (downwards), you will feel the knob loosen and then it will pop out gently.
Pull out the pin very gently and turn downwards to set the date. If you have a Day and Date watch, turn upwards to set the day of the week.
To set the time, pull the pin out futher and turn to set the appropriate time.
Finally push pin in and simultaneously turn upwards to screw back the pin.
Please make sure you push turn the pin tightly because most cases of Water Damaged watches are caused due to the pin being screwed up not tight enough.
