Question about Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527 Notebook
Ok you need to insert the cd and shut down your laptop then restart it, the first screen that shows up when you press the power button usually displaying the brand of the laptop with a few options at the bottom that say press F12 for setup and press F10 for boot options or very similar when that screen appears press the button on your keyboard that says PAUSE then look at those options at the bottom of the screen and select the one saying boot options it will bring up a screen asking where you want the laptop to boot from select cd drive and it will begin to run your recovery program the program will guide you through the rest, if there is no option at the screen saying boot options post a comment saying so and i will tell you the other way to start it wich is slightly harder, one more thing make sure you have the activation key its usually on the bottom of the laptop on a little sticker if you dont have that you wont be able to run the program and to get a new key will cost you 300$ if you cant find the key, again post a comment saying so and i will instruct you how to rip it from you laptop and save you 300 bucks

Make sure that your first boot option is CD and second boot option is Hard Drive. You can do this by entering Setup when you boot up your computer. Computer manufacturers use different options for entering Setup, the most common being either by pressing F1 or F2 or DEL.
Once in Setup, go to the Boot tab and check the Boot Device Sequence. If Boot from CD is not first, you need to follow screen instructions to change it. Then, 'save and exit'.
While your computer is on, open the CD drive and insert your recovery disk. Then, turn off your computer.
Reboot and your recovery program should start automatically.
MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP ALL OF THE FILES YOU WANT TO KEEP BEFORE DOING ANY OF THE ABOVE STEPS!!
