My pool heater says to check the ignition control, it is a Jandy model LXi

Look for a loose wire or corroded ground wire to the igniter. If the brain cannot get a signal of ignition, the flame will prematurely shut down.

make sure red light is on for calling for heat if so make sure 24 volts ac on both sides of pressure switch if ok make sure gas is on

make sure wiring is correct for 220 vs 110 wired for 220 from factory if 110 see inside panel move wires ignitor is not getting hot enough
