Insignia 27" tv, unit takes a long time to come

Unfortunately this is probably a hardware problem, hopefully you got it form Best Buy and it is under the 2 year warranty. The sad fact is Insignia TVs just don't last, however it might be something minor that a repair shop can fix. So I would take it into a repair shop and after they say it will take $400 dollars to fix it, chuck it and get a new TV.

Sounds like it's locked. Either hold the remote control "DISP" down for 3 seconds, or press it repeatedly about 10 times & it'll unlock.

Operating a SONY DVD player with RCA TV

The only thing I can think of is that you have the input option on the wrong input. Have you tried pushing the input button or TV/Video button? I hope it helps...

Insignia 27", no picture, clicks on and off by itself

Had same problem with a 24" Insignia. Took it back to BestBuy who sent it in for repair. Repair ticket listed problem as a couple of "cold" solder joints. Apparently correct as set has worked fine ever since I get it back.

You have a button stuck either on the set itself or on the remote. Stargazer

The input button

On some sets you can use the menu button to enter the menu and navigate to the page which shows what input is currently selected and change it there. If your set does not have that option, then you will need the remote to do it. I have found that on some universal remotes, the TV/VCR button switches the inputs on the TV when the remote is in the TV mode. If that button does not work on your remote for your set, and you have tried all possible codes for JVC TVs, then the only way to switch inputs is to invest a few dollars more and get an original remote from JVC or have the set repaired so that the input button on the TV functions again.
