Question about Washing Machines
Bought used kenmore washer-porcelain tub finish is worn off in bottom didn't think it was going to be a big problem but it is - it's really damaging clothes - especially knits but it's also messing up even towels. bought a product called restore-4 to try-anyone used it? sounds more like a cleaner than a finish restorer. Tub looks like someone washed a load of rocks in the bottom - it's really bad. Thought about using a porcelain paint but i guess you'd have to remove the tub and I have no idea how to do that. any suggestions???
Get rid of the machine
cant imagine a machine that old really cost that much.
pocelain is baked on and is glass so any edges will catch and destroy cloths
