Question about GoVideo DVR4000 DVD Player/VCR

Open Question

Go Video DVR4000 - DVD loading mechanism unresponsive

Machine seems to work normally from front panel, though sometimes it
won't change control back to DVD module without powering off first. If
loading gear is turned manually, then DVD plays. Load/unload shows up
on LCD panel, but nothing happens.

Checking voltage at loading motor was unclear; when load command was
read, digital voltmeter fluctuated, but never read significant voltage, nor
stabilized on any particular DC voltage. Micro switches nearby respond,
but exact sequence of function unclear and so untested.

Is problem more likely to be the loading/unloading motor, or the controller chip?

Thanks for any insights.

SOURCE: unable to unload pictures from camera to computer

I've never used a "program" to download my photos, and I've been able to download them on any computer whatsoever. Plug the mini-B into the camera, then plug the USB into your desktop while it is off. Turn the camera on with the switch in View mode. Turn your computer on. Go to Windows explorer or My Computer. Your camera should show up as if it were a data drive with an icon of a camera. Double click that icon and you can view photos at will. Right click any photo to save, or use pull down menus above to save multiple photos at once to other drives.

Disk won't eject

Hi,

Normally all readers have a mechanical system that can be accessed from the front or the back of the reader to open using a small tool. Normally it's a little hole (like on smartphones) where you can insert a metal piece and push on it to eject the drawer.

Vhs is stuck in machine. Won't play and won't eject.

There are any number of reasons why it won't play. The loading basket is jammed, the video tape has got tangled up in the mechanical section of the vcr or the loading gears are stripped. Unplug machine and remove top, [screws side and back] if the tape is spewed carefully remove by cutting it and clean tape particles, for any other problem have a technician check it out.

Need a new remote for a DVR4000. Can you help me?

Salutations pe99er,

Your best bet maybe through an auction site or a third party parts site. You should be able to find sites to get the parts from by entering "DVR4000 Remote" in a search engine.

Happy hunting.

Front panel controls are unresponsive

Check volume up switch in front panel locked continuously. If it is not take away the remote control from the TV or remove the battery in the remote. Because maybe the remote continuously sending volume up commands. Rarely this type problem occurs through remote control also. Even problem is not sorted there is problem in EEPROM ic (memory ic). This can be sorted out by the technical persons only. I hope this useful to you.
