Program button goes to fuzz channel, no regular channels show up

My VCR, Toshiba W522CG, was working fine. Then a button was pressed on the remote (I don't know what button, but i suspect the Since then, when I try to access the set up or programming through the "Prog" button, it goes to fuzz and a flickering messed up channel. No TV channels will show up through the VCR now. I don't know how to get it back; I've unplugged the VCR and plugged it back in--nothing fixes it.

I would so appreciate any help.

I have a Toshiba W528 VCR and am trying to hook up a Wii in the front panel Line 2 jacks. How do you switch the connnection to the Line 2 jacks without a remote?

With the up and down channel selector buttons. You will have to keep pressing either button till it shows AV (something IE 1 or 2 etc). Depending what it says on the front panel for the socket.
Recommend a universal remote if you can't get a new one.

I would like to tape my programs on the vcr(goldstar) I am not used to this product

do you wish to record while watching or while away.....while watching make sure your vcr is set to CH 3...when the show comes on press record
(a blank tape should be inserted) the red button on most vcrs.......while away the channel selector must be on the ch you wish to record...using the remote for the vcr press menu/program a event (this is where your vcr most have the correct date / time and not flashing 12:00)..set the day..time to start recording and time to stop recording..your ch will always be that vcr is set the main thing is make sure that cable channel selector is on that channel

happy recording

Vcr does not run

Try changing the channels on the VCR itself. If you can do that, then it would indicate a problem with the VCR's remote. If you are still unable to change channels on the VCR manually, it could indicate a circuitry problem, for which you will have to get the VCR serviced.

Panasonic NV SJ205 changing RF settings

Your VCR has input to record video-audio signal. Here is 2 options to record program in vcr.
1= You need to hook up video-audio cable at Monitor Out in TV and video-audio in at VCR. select Line-1 or Line-2 (where you hook up cable) in vcr and insert cassette with Record Tab intact, VCR is ready to record TV program. select desired channel on tv and hit record button of vcr, recording will start.
2= Plug RF antenna / cable wire in RF In of vcr and tune desired channel in vcr (get help of vcr's user manual for that) and push record button to start record directly in vcr.
Have further query, let me know please.

Not enough channels

The history of broadcasting is one of adding more and more channels. The older the VCR, the less cable channels it will get.
