Make sure water is turned on
check for kinked hoses
if water comes out of the hoses when they are not connected to the machine then you have water if it does not enter the machine check water valve connections at the screen inlet and check electrical connections to the water valve if all is good replace water valve

Spin cycle on washing machine not working

The spin cycle relies on the sensors turning on the sump pump to pump out the water and a solenoid valve to open to allow the water to drain. They are both controlled by a water sensor located in the bottom of the machine. If it does not sense the water it will not let the pump start or the drain valve open. Check it out.

Set dial and water overflows, doesn't stop sending water in tub, No spin cycle

The water level sensor is faulty and so it does not switch even with water level coming to the set level. Unless the water level switch is triggered the water inflow will not stop because the inlet valve will not cut off.Remove the water level sensor and check if the diaphragm is working , if not it must be replaced.

Machine will not spin or drain water.

I have a problem with my MW512AU. Sometimes it drains after wash cycle, but sometimes it sticks when it goes to spin, doesn't get up to speed, water comes on for about 10 seconds and shuts off, and it tries to spin again. If I hit the wash progress switch it goes directly to final spin and works ok. I then have to run a 2nd wash cycle to rinse the clothes. I also noticed a buzzing sound when I turn on the power point, which lasts about 3 seconds before stopping. It will come back on every 3-4 minutes for 30 seconds. This is with the machine power switch off. It powers on normally.

My kenmore won't pump out the water. what could

couple of possible reasons and this will vary by brand of machine...lid switch could be bad...some machines will wash or agitate with lid up but will not spin unless lid is closed..others will not do nothing with lid up....some brands will not spin if the water level switch can detect water in the tub...this means your machine didnt pump the water out of the machine so it could spin couple of reasons for this 1 bad pump or bad pump motor(some machines have a pump that is driven by a drifferent motor than the one that drives the transmission)usually these machines use the water level switch to activate(turn on/off) the pump when the machine goes into spin cycle... some machines the pump wil come on and stay on for the entire spin cycle...some machines the belt will be bad and you just need a new belt....first thing to do is see if raising the lid will turn the machine off when it is in wash cycle if it does not..then it will in spin cycle..if the machine will not work in spin cycle the lid switch will be the reason why..

Washer will not do a spin cycle for rinse or end of cycle

you can check two things,. One is, is the belt broken or stretched, the other is the motor, is the motor turning if the motor is turning then replace the belt. If the motor is not turning replace the motor.
