There a a couple reason why it is not powering on. Unplug the television first. If you remvoe the lower back cover you will see your circuit boards secured to the bottom of the cainet. You will also see where your power cord is either connected to the circuit board or soldered to the circuit board, next to it they put a glass fuse. Test the fuse with a muti meter to see if you have continuity, if not replace the fuse.......***CAUTION*** this is not a fuse for cars or anything of that sort, order the correct fuse. If you attempt a regular glass fuse your tv will be toast and you might as well put it on the curb for the garbage man to pick up because you just did major damage to several internal parts. USE THE CORRECT FUSE. If the fuse is fine than you need to find the correct integrated circuits or ICs. They will be marked with STK###-### or STK#### they will be mounted to a heatsinks. These are also your convergence IC's but they will also prevent you from powering on your televison. To make sure you do it correctly since it will be your first time go to www.tvrepairkits.com and go to repair kits, find your make and then your model which can be foudn on the backside of hte television on the white sticker make sure you find the entire model number. Go to your symptom and order it. The kit will contain you convergence IC's, resistors, thermal paste or grease, and step by step photo insturcions.
