Question about Maytag Neptune MAH5500B Front Load Washer
It seemed to run the regular wash cycle, but when I opened the door, there was still a lot of water in it. I reset the knob to "spin," and it made some sad noises but didn't do anything...the knob moves to "off," but there is still water (and soap) in with the clothes.
You have something clogging your pump
remove the back panel
clamp the tub to pump hose or deal with all the water when you remove the pump - three bolts
open the pump - three screws
remove the object blocking the impeller
check tub to pump hose and pump to drain hose thoroughly
be careful of the machine opening once you remove the rear panel it is razor sharp !
