Question about Intertherm P3RA-048K Air Conditioner
To whom it may concern, I have a intertherm furnace gas powered hot air and it has a pilot light but does not respond to thermostat settings not even fan setting BUT if I got into the unit and hit fan switch for air circulation the fan does go on BUT not from the thermostat. It was working untill; morning yesterday. I open ed thermostat and moved temp up to ninety and watched fopr a flash from the mercury switch and there was none. I opened the control box inside the furnace and saw two relays or apparently relays in appearence.
I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or (575) 373 9289
Sounds like there is no signal from the thermostat. Take a jumper wire and place it on the R and W terminals in your furnace. Make sure that the door switch is taped down. This should start he burner. If it does, start looking for a blown fuse, bad transformer, bad thermostat or a break in the thermostat wire.
Then take that same jumper and jump out the red and white wires leading to your thermostat. This may help to rule out the thermostat.

Check for a open limit switch caused by a dirty filter or poor air flow
