Question about Honeywell Focus 6300B 5-2 Days Programmable Thermostat Heater

I cannot figure out how to connect the wires on the rth230b to the new unit....screws don't come out; do i connect from top/bottom/front...the directions are not clear

Their is a hole under the screw ,slip it under then tighten the screw if you did it right the wire will not pull out

How to Replace a Thermostat in a Fridge?


If there cooling and defrosting problem in your fridge. Also over cooling or not getting cooling properly problem. Then the problem relates to thermostat.
The procedure to replace the thermostat is as follows: ---
1) First of all unplug the fridge/refrigerator unit from electrical outlet for complete safety.
2) In top freezer and bottom refrigerator model units. The thermostat is located at the rear of freezer side. But in some units its located in the bottom of the refrigerator floor panel.
3) In side-by-side refrigerator the thermostat is located at the back of the freezer side.
4) To remove the thermostat you will have to remove the screws from the icemaker section located in the freezer section.
5) After the screws from the freezer’s inner section are removed. The inside panel will get loose and come out.
6) Many a time the screws are hidden under rubber type butches. So its bit hard to locate the screws. So check out properly that all the screws in the inner section are properly removed.
7) After the inside panel of the freezer section is removed. You will see the thermostat. It has wires connected to its terminals. Be care full that you don’t pull out any wires. They are very thin and delicate wires.
8) The wires are connected to the thermostat by a connector. So slowly remove the connector from the thermostat using a needle nose pier. Take care you don’t put any force while doing this. It’s very delicate but not very hard to do.
9) After the wires are removed. Remove the screws holding the thermostat .In some models the thermostat is screwed to evaporator coil tubes. In that cases take care you don’t damage the tube while removing the screws holding the thermostat.
10) Before removing the thermostat take care you note down the position of old thermostat. so after the old thermostat is removed out by removing the screws. Place the new thermostat in the same exact position.
11) Refit all the parts which you removed while removing the old thermostat in reverse method. Take care you don’t miss any part fitting.

I have fender passport pd-250 the protect light on and the power light geos off


One or more of the power transistors are shorted. There are eight transistors in the amplifier section - 2 high & 2 low for each channel. This unit is difficult to open up to work on.

Unplug unit and check speakers with a multimeter to make sure they are not shorted.
Take off front panel (8 screws).
Remove power supply shield with yellow tape (2 screws).
Remove 2 screws holding top of power supply, loosen bottom screws.
Replace front and hold in place with a couple screws.
Turn unit around.
Remove screws holding heatsink (6 screws)
Open rear storage door.
Carefully pull amp section out, being careful of tightly routed wires. Note any connectors you disconnect.
The amplifier is the board on the top, the power supply is in the silver box.
Push the power supply forward and loose the black screws holding the amplifier board bracket closest to the heatsink.
Loosen the top brass screws holding bracket to heatsink and remove the bottom screws.
Remove all eight of the screws holding the transistor brackets & transistors to the heatsink. Look and take careful note of how the plastic insulators weave through the transistors. If you get this wrong, you can short out the whole amplifier when you turn it on.
Slide the amplifier board down and out where you can get to the bottom. Note the wires and connectors going to the small protect board over the amplifier.
Check the transistors with a multimeter to find the shorted ones. Remove and replace bad transistors. These are connected in pairs.
Reassemble in reverse. Be careful of reconnecting wires and insulators. Don't test until the amplifier PCB is back in place and you're sure of all wires. If the PCB is touching the power supply, you'll short it out.

1. Unplug printer from wall and remove power supply.

2. Unplug any phone lines or USB cords connected.

3. Remove printer attachments, paper trays and phone.

4. Lift the front cover of the printer and remove the white rubber bar by pulling the blue lever on right towards you.

5. Remove the screws underneath the front cover (6 screws), back of printer (2 screws), and bottom of printer (1). View the images below to find where to remove the screws.

6. Flip the front cover open and gently lift the top of the printer cover. Keep front cover open.

7. Remove the ink cartridges out of their carriage.

Caution: Electrical hazard. Keep hand and metal pieces clear of board or any other electrical wires or parts.

NOTICE: The ink cartridges are all the way to one end. If the X4270 is plugged in, the cartridge carrier is stuck and doesn't move. After further investigation a noticeable small black plastic lever is preventing the ink cartridges from moving. Photo below shows lever up and down (cartridges already moved in image below).

8. Push lever down clockwise so it is flush with plastic wall. Refer to image on right in Figure 6.

9. Lift the front cover open (if not already open) and plug in the X4270. Cartridges should move to center as if preparing for replacement.

10. Unplug the X4270 and remove power supply.

11. Remove bottom assembly carefully.

Note: The cause of this problem is the spring slides out of place over time, probably because of ink shed on one end of its loop and loop attachment.

12. Place spring in loop attachment and use hot tip of heated tool to melt top of loop attachment to prevent further errors. Melt top of loop attachment similar of that to a mushroom top.

13. Reattach the lever to the bottom assembly and slide back into place inside the X4270.

14. Plug in and check if operational.

15. Reassemble X4270 using steps 3-7.

I took out the bottom screws on my dell a425 subwoofer. Now something is sliding around on the inside and the sound is very fuzzy. how can I get inside the sub box without breaking it


If it is happening, Take a magnetic screw driver and move around inside the sub woofer any how , The magnetic screw driver will collect your spare screw .If it will be not done please remove the sub woofer remove all the screw and then you will do it.

I have the passport p-250 i left it on over night and when you turn it on the red comes on that said protect thanks jimmy

It wont print and everytime i try to print it says error #1200

How do you remove the back panel to replace the


Good day,
You don't. It is totally front serviceable. The following clip will not show you how to change the valve, but it will enable you to reach the area to access the valve.
Be aware the console screws can be on the front bottom exposed, on the front bottom but covered by plasic covers that have to be unclipped, or as shown on the video.

Problem with Honeywell RTH230B Thermostat


Sounds like you have it wired wrong..   Pop the top off and give me to color of the wires and tell me which letter each color wire is on.. that will tell us right away if you have it wired wrong
