Question about Regal Ware K6725 Kitchen Pro Bread Maker

1 Answer

My regal k6725 stopped spinning. I opened it and saw the "belt" connecting the motor to the thing that makes it spin is shredded. Can I buy a new belt somewhere?

Hi,
Try a Google search or go to ebay and search for bread machine belts.

Dryer won't spin

Was the belt shredded ( normal wear & tear ) or burnt through which could be a drum bearing or support problem .What does the drum feel like when you turn it by hand is it grinding & lump ? The fact that the motor runs with no load could by the start device faulty these are reasonably cheap to replace this is the small cylinder attached to the side of the motor with two wire connections . if your motor has not got one of these then its the start windings in the motor

Need to replace waxed thread on drive shaft of Regal Kitchen Pro K6725 bread machine

The "waxed threads" are the remains of your belt. You need to remove all that stuff completely and throw it away and try installing your new belt. There are videos of how to do that on youtube. By the way does your machine have little teeth on both wheels or are the wheels smooth where the belt was?

It's like the motor is going in slow motion when kneading...only about 10 min into the process too...then it simply doesn't turn anymore, like the dough is too stiff or heavy to move...

Hi, It could be a few things. It could be the paddle is sticking. Take the pan and paddle out of the machine and see if you can spin the paddle freely by hand. If it spins freely that is great. If it sticks then the sealed bearing that the paddle rotates in is failing. If everything is okay, then the belt is slipping and is too loose or is worn out. The dough gets thicker and requires more work for the belt. If the belt is loose then the paddle won't turn. The belt and motor is located in the base of the machine. Be sure to unplug before you check this out. Also, make sure the pan is installed correctly in the machine. Good luck...Hank

The drive shaft is no longer rotating. it stopped mid knead.

Hi, Take the pan out of the machine and see if you can spin the paddle freely by hand. If yes, that's great. If it's sticking and not turning freely then the sealed bearing may be frozen and failing. Next, keep the pan out of the machine and start a kneading cycle. Look through the lid window to see if the motor shaft is turning. If not, then the belt either fell off, is loose, or has snapped. Motor and belts are located in the base of the machine. Be sure to unplug machine before you check that. Hank

Drive shaft no longer turns kneading blade on model k6725

Hi,
Either the paddle is frozen in the bread pan ( take pan & paddle out of machine and see if you can turn it by hand), or the belt has fallen off or has snapped. (Keep the bread pan out of the machine & run a knead cycle, look through the lid window and see if the motor shaft spins. Hank

I have a toro ccr 2450 snowblower. i bought it

No if your belt is shredding there is something rubbing on the belt. Check the idler/tightner pulley see if it spins freely. Check make sure nothing but the pulleys are touching the belt when it is engaged.

Washer belt is loose, & seem to slip at start of spin cycle.

there are several drive belts for this model... check here to see if the one you are fitting is the correct one... also,is the tensioner siezed? causing the tension to be too slack therefore allowing the belt to shred at speed?
