Mp3 wont download or anything

When turn on name come on and that it. when conneted to computer it say do not disconnect and dose not show on the computer in any file

Mymusix mp3 sp 6070 use to play but all of a sudden one day it stopped working out of no where What can I do to get it working again?

@Guest: I'm guessing you're on an older version of Windows. (on my Windows 98 it does the same thing, and I have never gotten it to work right) It would probably work on a different operating system. What you can try is downloading Ubuntu, which is a free operating system. Then it shouldn't say anything about missing drivers. However, that process is a little long and complicated, so it may be better to use someone else's computer.

@lavoe and danieller71: I'm not so sure; try using a different computer?

I bought a Gogear 2gb philips SA018 mp3 player i dont know how to start it and download anything theres no instructions and its not showing anything. how do i charge it?

I have problems with the Philips SA018 4gb MP3 player. While it is connected to the computer the it shows green once it is disconnected it goes red and nothing works.The battery should be fully charged as it shows green,but as I have said once it is disconnect it turns red and that's it...there is no joy.I wonder is there a problem with the battery...? Has anyone else had this kind of issue?

my mp3 player is just showing a blank white screen. it wont turn on, wont turn off, my computer wont recognize it, nothing. whats going on and how can i fix it? thanx. anything will help at this point.

When i trun it on all it dose is say internal updating music libarary and it wont trun off after you trun it on

Remove and reinsert the battery first.
If you have a Windows-based computer,
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

If that fails,
Check the battery polarity. (+ and - must be in correct psoition)
Set the hold button to the unlock position.
Check if the file system is NTFS. If yes ,format it to FAT or FAT32. - Connect player to computer, click my computer, right click on icon of mp3 player and select format
If that fails,
go to to see if the latest software update will correct the problem

Repair the GoGear (This will permanently delete all files form device):
1) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips) - if you don't see it, then re-run the installation CD or grab the "Device/Firmware Manager" from the Philips website
2) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button
3) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off (if you haven't done so already) - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new

Mp3 wont turn on

wont respond to anything, try this, plug it in to the computer, hold the power switch in the on position, THEN trigger the reset button, worked like a charm for mine, I had thought it a lost cause."try the Reload Firmware option from the Recovery Mode menu? It makes a huge difference!

Seeing as how you can access Recovery Mode, can perform its disk operations, and seeing as how your computer does recognize it, it seems there's a good chance it's simply firmware corruption causing your problem.
