Question about Computers & Internet
The (key between the tab and the w) is stuck. It won't even go down when pressed. I've tried s(key between tab and w)uirting compressed gas duster along the sides & under the key as best I can. Nothing was spilled on the computer (but it's possible that something else like dog hair or birdseed worked its way in...) Any suggestions? Thanks tons! Leo
Almost all laptop keys are attached to the keyboard via small plastic clips that keep the key from flying off the keyboard.
They also generally have a small rubber piece that is pushing the key up. If that small rubber piece became damaged or loss the key would appear to be stuck since the rubber piece is not pushing the key back up.
If you feel comfortable doing it you can apply a small amount of force and pop the key off "Q" I believe in your case and check for damage.
I don't believe you can buy replacement parts for a single key, so you may have to replace the entire keyboard.
