Your igniter lead is shorted by some foreign object and needs to be cleaned before it kills the spark module.
This usually happens when you have a pot that boils over spilling liquids and solids on the igniter contacts.
Check the igniter area on the side that doesn't pop to locate the igniter tip, then find the exact match to it on the other side and clean it off with a toothbrush and alcohol.
