Question about Combi Avatar 8100

Combi recall? I was researching where to buy a new cover for my Combi Avatar 8100 (the old one was awful quality and didn't stand up to washing...even as per instructions). I found an article on stating that the carseat was recalled in 2005 for faulty LATCH system. I purchased my combi in 2005 and am very concerned. I believe I had registered the carseat...and am upset that In ever heard about this from the company. Ii tired calling them, but wason hold for over an hour, with a message repeating that my estimated wait time was 2 minutes. Any help on where I can find more info on the recall?

I found the following information on the Combi recall from a carseat recalls website.

The Combi recall effected the Avatar model with manufacture dates of 11/12/03 to 5/7/04. The LATCH strap, when used rear facing, could be severed in a crash. You can call 1-800-992-6624 for a replacement part (best to wait until after the holidays, as they may be closed for Christmas), and use the vehicle belt when the seat is rear facing until the replacement part is received.

If you purchased your seat in 2005, most likely it was after the effected manufacture dates, which explains why you were not contacted about the recall.

Changing in a stand up walker

Hello. From my research, the only thing that would change it from a sit-and-play to stand up walker would be to slide the foot rest out of the way. This video was helpful. It shows a baby using it standing up. Hope this helps.

Enjoy your little one while he/she is still little.
Blessings. And if that doesn't work, here is the contact infor for Combi.

Hello, I want to buy a Toshiba RDXV-60 Combi VHS/DVD Recorder in the United Kingdom and use it in Greece. Can you tell me if it will work here in Greece?

Yes, that is true. Some UK electronic's sound is different from other regions. There was a TV my friend bought, it's from UK the TV didn't bring out sound. The sound had to be converted before it worked. Electronics repairers has a way of converting the sound to work with your region.
So I would advise you shouldn't buy the Toshiba RDXV-60 Combi VHS/DVD Recorder because if you do, you are taking a risk.
When you get to Greece you can get a Toshiba RDXV-60 Combi VHS/DVD Recorder.
I hope this is clear.
Good luck.

Is there such a thing as a descaling unit for a blodgett combi oven model bc14g/ab

These combi ovens are so prone to problems if you do not have descaling filter system hooked to the COLD water supply (the only water that should be fed to this unit) for your generator inlet. The other water hookup is for your condensate drain (condenses steam leaving cook chamber headed down the drain) and it does not need to be filtered but, also needs to be COLD. These decaling units are quite pricey but, a service call to replace the generator (boiler in laymens terms) will cost 3 times as much & the unit will be down for days waiting on parts. Call Blodgett w/ your model # & talk w/ technical service & ask their recomendation. They can be reached @800-331-5842 & follow the prompts. Depending on your water conditions it is still recomended to descale the unit on a regular basis using a QUALITY descaler (not the junk you buy from Sysco or Dollar general) Cleveland descaler is the BEST.

Combi Stroller - Can front wheels be replaced?

We loved our combi at first, but now both wheels are bad. We used to recommend the stroller because of it being so compact, but HATE the wheels. They should recall them or at least revise them.
