Question about Farmall Cub Tractor Radiator
You can get your alternator shop to make it a one wire alternator, so really all you need is a positive wire and ground to the frame. I got to be honest, I have convert many of them back to a 6 volt system, I use to set the point in the regulator to a 8 volt and install a eight volt battery. I didn\'t have to change much as the light and coil worked fine with it. There is a lot of stuff to change out when you change over to 12 volt system. Either way its hard on your starter. good luck

My father used to have a Farmall H and it is a nice tractor. There is no wiring diagram for the built in alternator as it has no adjustment, it is preset. You will need to change your starter to a 12 volt starter, and if you have lights they will also need to be changed to 12 volt bulbs. I believe the tractor has a magneto so there is no modification there as it is independent and is not connected to the power. If it has a spark coil you will need a limiting resistor connected between your 12 volt power and spark coil. That is about it. I have rewired old Model As and a 37 Ford convertable to 12 Volt system and wired many trailers. I hope this helped and if I can assist you further please let me know.
