This set has a lot of problems but I have news for you that I recently discovered from a authorized Mitsubishi repair center---

Mitsubishi has had so many problems with this set that now they sell a complete Chassis replacement for this set for about 200 dollars--You will have to go to a authorized center---no more trying to fix individual boards in this set...if you are in doubt--Google the model number and you will see all the problems this set has had---

Contact Mitsubishi and I think the best thing you can do is get the Chassis replaced--

If you have more questions about what I am telling you let me know---I think Mitsubishi is trying to avoid the class action lawsuits that are in progress against them for this model.

NOT SURE HOW THIS HAPPENED BUT WRONG ANSWER PLACED HERE FOR BLINKING GREEN LIGHT:ONLY 1 or 2 things can cause this problem----First thing to do is
remove front speaker grill--it should pull out and is secured with plastic
pegs--behind it you will find an inspection plate---Notice the one or
two pairs of wires coming from the front keyboard
of the set---remove the inspection plate and follow the wires to the
right--you can unplug both plugs(most have two and they are marked with
letters and different sizes so you cannot get them wrong)

    The
idea here is to remove the front keyboard with its reset button etc
from the circuit---You will still be able to try to turn the set on
with the remote---these sets have a Receiver(large metal box to the
left as you look from the back) and if the power goes out the green
light will blink for about 70 seconds and then go out---it is the
    Receiver booting up.

If disconnecting the keyboard allows the
set to turn on--you have a bad reset switch and two choices---either
operate the set only with the remote or to remove the front screen and
get at the reset switch (it is tiny) and remove and/or replace it.

    If
disconnecting the keyboard does not restore the set to operation---the
receiver is bad---there are 4 or more caps and some pico fuses that can
fail in that unit---Mitsubishi no longer sells or repairs these--if it
is bad and not the caps there is a company you can send the unit to and
have it repaired--if you need to know their name let me know---you can
call them and get a quote for repairing the receiver.

I have the same issue on my 52525.
1) Tried the bulb replacement and that didn't work.
2) Looked for two (2) wiresat the control panel. There were approx 8. Disconnected the entire harness at the connector. Tried the remote, nothing.
Tried the Menu/Guide method, got nothing from that.
Green light just blinks away. Is this thing an over sized paperweight?

NOT A GOOD IDEA AT ALL!

You likely now have one of two things happening:

1. Green power light constantly blinks and will not stop(should blink for 70 seconds and go out).

2. Green power light comes on and a few seconds later goes off.

Which do you have?

The red light is key to your issue---is it blinking in a sequence--constant blink or for example 3 blinks, pause and 3 blinks?

My mitsubishi tv W55613 won't turn on. green light keeps blinking even after resetting

Hit the front of the tv near the blinking light... give it a good rap or two. See if this helps. Helped mine. I had the same problem and the tech who came out to the house told me that it would work and it did! I could hardly believe it but it worked.

The green led light constantly blinks. I tried the reset button and green light is still blinking. I unplug the tv, waited a few days, then plugged the tv back in, the green light still blinks. The constant blinking green light means that the TV is not booting up. This is a common problem on this set.You need to remove the shield from the DM board (standing upright on the left where the DTV RF connector is)and inside you will see the four leaky capacitors (1000 MFD 16 VOLT)replace them, plug the TV in and wait 70 seconds for the blinking light to stop, then turn on the TV.The hard part will be removing the board from the TV(lots of screws and connectors, takes time)
