That means changing mtr , contactors, that 1 phase is expensive never mind the kit to c/o keep 3 phase set up install a roto-phase in building, not a static phase inverter . the money you spend on coversion of mixer, i think the roto-phase is the cheaper of the two

What size fuse is needed for a 600b mixer?

I am guessing you have an older Peavey mixer amp. I believe these mostly used 8 amp fuses although older earlier ones may have used different. It should say on the back at the fuse holder. You can get these at Radio Shack, at better hardware store in either auto electrical or electric sections or on line.

Kitchen aid professional stops spinning

the pro series 600 has a worm gear, a worm follower gear, a bevel gear, and tree bearings the front rear and thrust bearings any of the above will cause the mixer to halt, to operate noisily, or grind, you need to open it up and look under the transmission cover. If it is an older model it could also be the transmission cover if it is a plastic one, My first thoughts is it is the worm follower gear. hope this helps you in the right direction.

Mixer arms shake when kneading bread

You have not supplied a model number and the bowl lift models are not all the same. A couple of items you could check, make sure that the bowl retaining clip that engages with the dimple on the pedestal side of the bowl is not broken. Make sure any bolts/screws holding the pedestal to the base or the pedestal to the motor are tight. Even if you supply a model number I can't think of anything else to look at unless the handle is not lifting the bowl up tight enough. I think on some models the arm holds the carrier up with some pressure which would help stop the wobbles.

It sounds like you have a stripped gear. I, too, had this problem when my bride dropped a wooden spoon into the bowl. You'll need to disassemble the mixer and determine the part(s) that need to be replaced. With a google search for parts for your model, you can not only locate the exact part, but can also get exploded diagrams for your model. Very handy indeed for disassembly/reassembly. I'd get the diagrams first and then determine the parts needed.

Hope that this helps you.

I have a KitchenAid 600 professional stand mixer. I was told that you can only use the dough hook with setting 2 for only 5 minutes. What do you do for recipes requiring a longer time for kneading? Is...

It is a matter of overheating. I have used the same mixer for 8-10 minutes, then put an ice pack on the gear head. The problem is that they cheapened the gearhead in the newer models by using plastic gears. The older ones with metal gears didn't have the same problem, however they put the warning on all models to cover their butts . . . .Just fill a zip lock bag with ice and lay it on top of the gearhead before and during use and you can runit longer without overheating and melting the gears.
