Most of the battery can be build and replace. Look at specialist like onlybatteries.com where you can buy any kind of battery cells, with tabs if need that you can weld, or make weld at your local electronic shop repair. Keeps the old pack, open it with a xacto without breaking it or a dremel and check how its made. its usually AA nimh battery...

I have a CTP8600 Cordless phone made by Coby in 2003. The battery pack for the handset is apparently no longer charging. Coby has stopped making (or supporting) this product. I would like to replace the...

Try taking the battery pack to your local radio shack store. They can usually match the original battery pack with a new, compatible one even if they no longer make the EXACT one that came with the phone. This recently happened to me with a panasonic phone bought around 2002. phone stopped charging, no longer make the phone, etc. I went down to radio shack and they fixed me up with a new battery (not exact brand/part number as original) and it worked. Hope this helps you.

Is it ok to use new NiMH battery packs with the original charging base?

Absolutely. NiMH batteries are direct replacements for Nicads - in use and in charging.

What charger should I get for my Evader EXB

I show your car uses 8 “AA” batteries, 6- or 7-cell NiCd or NiMH battery.
Radio Shack or The Shack will have a replacement and the store people should be able to guide you to the correct plug and polarity. NiCD and NiMH batteries are easy to work with, buy, replace and charge. If you use 8 AA batteries, that is 8 X 1.5 (volts) = 12 Volts DC. NiCD and NiMH style batteries should deliver about the same but dont expect to get performance from a NiCad battery as they dont offer enough power.

Wair can i get a pro 75 battery from

The battery pack for your scanner, Radio Shack item 23-288, is out of production and I could not any source that still carries it. You can, however, power the scanner using six size AA batteries. The black battery holder that came with the scanner is for standard, non-rechargeable, alkaline batteries. The yellow battery holder is for rechargeable NiCd or NiMH batteries. If you don't have the AA holders you should still be able to pick them up from Radio Shack.

Need new battery and I have a NiMH battery replacement. Can I use it on my phone? I have model number 25838GE6-A.

NiMH is a universal replacement battery. It will work in place of nicad and other types of rechargeable batteries, and will work with virtually any charger

BATTERY SAYS LOW I JUST CHANGED

If you replace the batteries with rechargeable NIMH batteries, the scanner might not like them, because NIMH batteries each are 1.25 volts whereas regular alkaline batteries are 1.5 volts each. Some devices have a switch or automatic sensing to change between the two battery types. It might prove beneficial to take your unit to Radio Shack and have those guys look at it. They will be happy to help. Good luck.

Freeplay S360 Need Replacement Battery Pack

I will give my info here and say that I -was- able to replace the battery in my Freeplay S360. I purchased two of the 2/3 AA rechargable NiCD batteries and soldered them together. Then I rewired it into the radio and voila! It works! Total cost: about US $4 Total time: about 20 minutes Now all I need to do is remember to use the thing every month or so, just to keep the battery in good condition.

Rechargeable batteries

They are a plastic wrap of 5 aaa batteries.......if you can't find the direct replacement for those batteries, you can just make up a battery pack yourself.
The main thing when doing this is to use the same TYPE of battery. For example alot of these battery packs use NiMH or NiCD batteries. The charger that came with the radios is designed to charge this type of battery. So look at the battery pack and if it says they are NiMH bateries... pick up 5 AAA NiMH batteries... connect them in series and your set.

All you really have to do is get the same type of battery that is close to the same voltage.
So if your stuck.... just make up a battery pack.
If you had a charger for Lithium Ion batteries, I would say make the battery pack out of those type insted. They are 1.5 volts insted of the lower voltage of NiMH and other rechargeables.
The slight increase in voltage will increase the output wattage of the radio.
But again, Lithium Ions use a different type charger than NiMH.... so if you want to use the same charger.... use the same type of batteries.
Take care
