The screen on my S7350 samsung phone has gone black. the diplay lights on the numbers work but the screen won't. I need to move information from this phone to my new phone, but to do this I have to turn...

Hi

there is nothing wrong with your screen, the problem is from the flex that connects your screen to the phone's main board. This flex must have worn out that's why your screen is not displaying any picture.

The problem is common with flip and slide phones. The flex gets worn out as a result of constant opening and close of the flip or slide phone.

I would urge you to replace the flex and I am assuring you that your screen will display picture again. You might also be lucky to find out that the flex is not well fix, that is, it may have loosed contact.

If you cannot change the flex yourself, maybe you should take the phone to a local repairer within your vicinity, so that the flex can be fixed/replaced.

Read the tips on this link for more info about phone screen problems; http://www.fixya.com/support/r6382458-screen_problems_phones

I hope you understand the above and I also hope it is helpful.....

Good luck.

The screen on my nokia 6288 went blank ,is there a way to repair it??

Were you using Bluetooth at the time?
I've had 2 Nokia 6288's. The first one died the day I got it. I'm pretty sure I was bluetoothing music from my Mac to my phone. The phone went blank, every time I turned it it would just flash, then turn off. So I returned it and got a new one. It was fine for ages, then it did the same thing when I was bluetoothing stuff to it. I got it fixed, and last week it died again-still flashing.
I think it cost about $100 to have it fixed, but I'm not fixing it again. I got a new phone, the Nokia 6300-My dad has one and has never had any problems-and it's had stuff sent to it from my Mac.

Bluetooth problem

Turn on your NAV screen and go into the info main menu in the Nav system. If no NAV refer to the drivers handbook, since you will sinc by using the voice command buttons on the steering wheel and the car will offer you prompts.
Click on telephone, settings, Bluetooth, ADD PHONE.
Then go into the menu for the Curve, tools , add devices, enable handsfree, search new device are the icons you need. You will need to authorize the Curve to accept a new device by entering a 4 digit pin code, which will show on the car`s screen. Once completed, the car will acknowledge the Curve in it`s screen

Can't send pictures

My wife came to me with the same issue:  unable to send photos of our daughter. Rather than reset I used the bluetooth capability to transfer them to our Mac.
Turn on bluetooth: - go to "Setting", find "Connectivity", then select "Bluetooth", and then select "Bluetooth" again which brings you to the on/off option (terrible menu by the way)
Computer Bluetooth must be set to "Discoverable" - basically a simple option to set "Discoverable", but each pc/mac is a little different so your on your own.
Find Pictures and Transfer: - "My Stuff", then "Tones & Graphics", then "images" - you should see your images - Select the image you want ("Open" it) - With image open select "Options", then "Send", then "Via Bluetooth" -- it will now be searching for devices (hence why you have to have your pc discoverable) - It should find your device (it's the name of your computer) - Select the device (pc name) - You should get a splash screen on your pc letting you know that "Nokia 6126 is sending a file", and you should "Accept" on your pc - The file is saved (remember where it is saved or you'll have to search for it later).
Hope this helps.  The instructions are pretty anal so it might seem complex, but it's pretty easy... beginners should be fine.  After watching me my wife did it on her own.
Good luck.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= = One thing you need first = =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Bluetooth capable phone [that supports bluetooth dialing]: Not all phones do this, even the ones with Bluetooth. My Motorola V551 worked fine with bluetooth dialing. My new Samsung does not, even though the palm and the phone recognize each other. With my Samsung, I can only send and receive contact info. So say you have a BT phone that supports BT diailing... ===setup your phone and palm=== In Palm Applications goto Preferences select Bluetooth Ensure BT is on and that your Palm is Discoverable and has a Name Select "Setup Devices" Select "Phone Setup" Select "Phone Connection" Follow through the setup guide and you should be nearly set. Once complete, exit back to Applications ==dial a contact== goto Contacts (or press the contacts button) select a contact so you see the contacts vCard info on screen at the top center of the screen select the palm icon. select the number for quick connect. you should then be in business
