Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Music download does anyone have any suggestions where to get music to put on my sansa? I was using rhapsody, but it was getting obnoxious having to resync every 30 days and it didn't work after they converted from Urge to Rhapsody, I had to redownload everything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: music download

There are a lot of music blogs out there that have MP3 downloads for anyone to freely download. Another is -just type a band name in and wait for the results.

Vista not compatible with rhapsody.

I use Rhapsody with Vista. You need to go to Rhapsody's website (or Best Buy Digital Music Store, which runs the same software) and download the updated version, which will work just fine.

Purchased music from iTunes can be put on Sansa players as well when you set-up Rhapsody to manage your music. Have the program detect your music library and then all you have to do is drag and drop to your MP3 player.

My sansa e250

hey smart ones(sarcasm) why dont u just buy the Sansa e250v2

its pretty much the same thing, just without rhapsody, thats how me and my friends are, i bought the one with rhapsody features(Sansa e250R) so i can play the songs that i bought and get free music channels for it, where my friend on the other hand has the Sansa e250v2 without rhapsody, u can still use rhapsody but u cant get free music channels for it, or u could also download best buy music manager or rhapsody and set up a free 31-day account for it to stop saying that for a while, plus if u got ur Sansa e250R from Best Buy, they can replace it, or trade u the sansa that u have with the rhapsody-free one(without rhapsody)

Sansa e250 sync and rhapsody -- ugh

the Walmart songs should be usable, but the old Rhapsody songs will have to be reloaded, or your Rhapsody sub will have to be renewed.

Need file transfer Software!!!???

You do not need any specific software to transfer music. You can Drag and Drop files thru Windows XP or Vista, or use Windows Media Player 10 or higher, Rhapsody, or several other music management programs.

The only software on the CD was Rhapsody, or the Best Buy Digital Media Store. Both of which are on the internet.

Best of Luck.

Sansa turns on but does NOT do anything!!! :0!!

Sounds like you have a few different problems, thankfully its easy to resolve. Run the recovery tool from the SanDisk website, select FORMAT when prompted. Best of Luck. (this only works with non Rhapsody devices, annotated by an 'R' or the word Rhapsody on back)

Messages that I can't get rid of

this is a common problem w/ the e250r and you can reset it by
1.Slide the button on top so it is on the orange
2.hold the record button on the left side
3.let it reset you music from a different place (not Rhapsody)
