I keep getting a Bad Disk error when loading DVDs
I keep getting a Bad Disk error when loading DVDs that I know are fine. When there's no disk loaded, all I see is the blue load screen with the message "loading" in the upper left

I keep getting an error message of the dvd player which is bad disc. Please tell me if it is the dvd disc or the dvd player.

there is a ribbon cable in the DVD player that connect the moving laser head to the main circuit board. When this cable becomes damaged from moving over time, it will claim that your DVD is bad (even though it is not). Best to scrap the player and buy a new one.
