Question about Toshiba CF36G40 36" TV
When I turned my TV on all I got was a single hoizonal line across the center of the set.Has my picture tube gone bad?
No, your picture tube is fine. This is a problem in the vertical circuit that deflects the beam up and down. This repair is fairly typical across most television brands and should not cost too much to fix. I don't want to quote another shops pricing but from us this would run about $150.00 to fix.
