Ctake of the cabinet ands inspect the machine while running to determine the leak area

two philips screws on the back or front corners
remove those and roll the controll board up and over
you will see two clips on the exch corner in back
pop those off,,,,, remeber how they are positioned
once those are off you will see a two wire connector
unplug that, and the top part jump with a peice of wire
no you can roll the cabinet forward and off,
now roll the control back and turn the machine on

you should be able to see where the water is now comming from

Kenmore top loading washing machine, model # 82870100 leaking when it is filling, but only when it gets to about half to 3/4 full. Any ideas what could cause this?

Check as you fill it. lay down on your back and use a flashlight and see if you can see where the water is coming from. underneath the machine. Check hoses as well as water pump. It has to be coming from somewhere.

My kenmore elite topload washer is leaking underneath washing machine leaving a puddle whats causing this?

depends. first and foremost, I would fill the unit up about halfway with water, with tub being empty of any clothing. Tilt the machine back where you can look underneath it real good. see if you see any leaks with it half full of water. If you don't see any leaks, put the unit back on all fours, and put it into drain/spin. After tub empties of water, tilt unit back again and check for leaks near the drain pump and hose. If you need any further assistance, look for me on 6ya

Why does my Kenmore washing machine leaks in front when agitating?

Most likely the sight of water leaking from the front of the machine, means it is leaking from somewhere else. Check all inlet and outlet hose connections. Hard water deposits build up and can cause minor leaks over time. If it is only noticeable during the wash cyclee,(agitating) it is possible there is a leak in the drum. Rare, but possible.

My kenmore washer has just started this week leaking water underneath somewhere!! I noticed water down the side next to the wall & behind the washer. I then placed a few small towels behind & down...

This is either your water pump, inlet valve, or you have a hole at the top of the outer drum. Try using the small load water level, if no leaks try medium. Also try seeing if the hoses are leaking. I also have seen mice bite holes in the drain lines. I hope i have helped you. God bless!

Water is leaking from the underneath, at the front of the machine

The drain pump is located at the front, underneath. The drain pump has probably failed and will need to be replaced.

Washer leaking water from underneath

Your leak could be coming from the rubber door seal. Inspect all the way around the rubber seal paying particular attention to the areas behind the rubber seal where it meets the wash tub. They wear with age and can develop small holes. When they start leaking it appears like water coming from under the machine. I hopes this helps.
