Question about Samsung LN46A650 46 in. LCD HDTV
Unless your set has a (glass- sometimes anti-glare) screen in front of the LCD panel (one of ours does, the other doesn't), you are looking at a very high replacement cost that may approach the cost of replacing the entire set.
You might try dropping in on this site which 'parts out' a variety of later TVs:
We have a small 32" bedroom set (Ilo) that was invisibly damaged by the factory repair service when they had the set to repair another problem. The damage was outside the standard definition filed so wasn't visible until HD use and now the maker is bankrupt. The screen is common to other cheap sets so we may get lucky someday.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
