Question about Frigidaire 24 in. PLD2850 Built-in Dishwasher
The upper arm fell off on my dishwasher due to hitting a pan I am assuming. I need to know if it can be put back on by me and what do I need to know to do this. I can't afford to have a repair man right now as my husband is going through CHEMO treatments and I don't have the extra cash. Please advise me on what to do.
Thank you very much,
If you are unable to put it back on while the nut is still attached to the inside of the dryer, reach in and unscrew the upper arm nut. Remove it, reattach the arm to the white plastic piece and reattach the entire assembly by screwing the nut back onto the inside of the dishwasher. Very simple to do and doesn't take much strength at all. In fact, I'm usually the one that has to do it at our house, not my husband, because I can reach in and do it without removing the top rack where as he would have to remove the top rack because his arms are too big.

Pull out the upper basket and simply put the impeller back on the water arm
