My phone freezes when I try to delete a text thread

open the back of the phone. take out the battery. You will see six hole for screws. The one to the right beside the battery should not be a screw. press it 2 or 3 times with something small. Reinsert battery it should show a reboot screen. I just tried it and all my data is still there. please let me know if this works. we can find out if its a software issue or maybe a memory module or something.

Samsung Blackjack freezes

If you want, you can try doing a hard reset, which will erase everything that's not on external storages. Here is the hard reset procedure:

1. Removing the battery without turning it off.
2. Reinstall the battery and turn the phone on with navigator key pressed down.
3. press any key to skip to prompt.
4. press yes to reset the phone.

Good luck.

Can't delete old text messages

Yeah, it works really slow. What I did was right before I went to bed I hit the "Delete all read" (so I would be able to keep any someone wrote me over night) and left it there. When I woke up in the morning all my texts from November-August had been deleted.
You just need to give it several hours.

My samsung blackjack does not boot...it freezes during the startup

Remove your memory card (if inserted) or try booting it without any cards (Memory, SIM) it should boot all the way up to the main screen without a SIM. (Calls and text are unavailable because theirs no SIM.) If it works then your problem would be in your SIM or Memory Card.

Blackjack 2 being slow

i dont have a blackjack but this happened on my blackberry 8800. i just deleted a bunch of old text messages and it started working fine. i guess it was running out of memory and that was causing it to run slow.

i dont know if this will work for a blackjack.

Blackjack i607 stuck in "phone off"

Try doing a master reset. this will delete all of the data and settings but it may help. go to settings, push more until you see security, and then press reset. if not have AT&T send u a new one (if you still have a warranty) if you havent already you should try a soft reset before doing the master. soft resets leave all of your data intact. to do this: turn the phone on. after it is on fully, remove the battery and wait about 30 seconds, then reinsert the battery.
