Question about Tascam CD-A500 CD Player
My Tascam CD-A500 was working - then the other day, I put a CD in and it said 'no disk' - tried several other CDs - same thing, I keep getting the message 'no disk'. Is there anything else I might try before checking on getting it serviced? Thanks!
How hard is it to replace optical lens on the Tascam CD-A500?

Try to listen to sound inside if the any motor is working through the disc tray. then try to open it (if you want though) then observe it.
after that if the motors are ok, try to adjust your optical lens variable risistor.
note if the optical lens is not emitting a red light your optical lens is the problem, changing it is the only solution.
