Yes it is, might be more cost affective to just buy another compatible enclosure for $40 or less and move it inot replacement case.

I have an Asus P5QL PRO Motherboard and I'm trying to connect the FP audio and I need some help on how to connect it up properly. On the heaphones lead I have 4 connectors: EAR R EAR L RETURN...

Pin arrangement for Front panel Audio is usually:

Pin 1 Left MIC-IN Pin 1 right GROUND
Pin 2 Left MIC VVC (or MIC Power, or MIC BIAS) Pin 2 Right empty
Pin 3 Left R EAR (or R OUT) Pin 3 Right R RETURN
Pin 4 Ground or Empty Pin 4 Right empty
Pin 5 Left L EAR (or L OUT) Pin 5 Right L RETURN

This arrangement should apply to both the HD AA/FP or the Standard AC'97 Headers.

I hope this helps

Some body was chaged the admin password and i dont kow who so the password is losen need to reset it please. i can't log on remote controle 16 ch DVR

Obtain the manual for the mother board. Look for the CMOS reset jumpers the diagrams, it should be three pin with a plastic jumper on two. Move the jumper from the first two pins to the last two pins, then turn on the computer. This will reset the bios. Turn the computer off, then place the jumper back in it's original position so you retain any new changes you make.

If that is not possible, or seems over your head, look for a button battery the between the size of a nickel and a quarter. It usually lies flat on the board, but sometimes is mounted standing on its edge. Pull this battery out of the board while the power cord is unplugged. Press the power button a few times, then wait a while (I've waited a few hours, but 20 minutes or so should be enough.). Without replacing the battery, plug the power cord and turn it on. CMOS should be reset, allowing you to do what you need.

I have a new Toyota RS2000 that I was bought as a gift. I received it without a manual which I have now obtained, but now I have gone to use it the power lead does not seem to fit into the machine. Is it...

It is quite possible that you were supplied the wrong lead, seeing that the manual was missing, the contents of the package might well have been tampered with. Contact the person who gave you the machine and ask them to either check with the dealer, or go see the dealer yourself, even if you see another dealer for these machines, I am sure they will be willing to help you.

Lost pin holding leather wristband, size of pin is ...

You should be able to get one at any merchandise store. Walmart target kmart jcpenny where ever. You might have to buy another cheap band the same size pin. If they won't sell you a pin unless you bought it there. I had that happen to me before

No power even though everything is pluged in.

Thank you for your query

Please try the following

1) Ensure that the fuse n the plug has not blown
2) If possible replace the 3 pin kettle lead type power lead with another one (This can be purchased cheaply from any reputable PC shop)
3) If both the above fail then unfortunatley your monitor is faulty and will need to be replaced/repaired

If this has been useful please leave positive feedback/vote/testimonial as this will help me greatly - Thank you again

Wont start after disasemble and cleaning. just redlights and i think my wires are wrong cause i forgot how it goes.

Which wires do you mean? The wires for the reset and power buttons on the case? The pin arrangement is usually part of something called the front panel header, it's a series of pins for stuff like the power LED, HDD led, and speaker. The pin arrangement should be in your motherboard manual. If that's not what you're talking about please clarify. If you're in the Washington DC/Rockville MD area, please shoot me a line at Inovagent.

The rectifier fitted has a 6 pin inline plug and socket arrangement. The replacement part I have has a trailing lead with a sixpin plug on the end arranged with two rows of 3 pins. The supplier has...

If it is the correct part then the wires should be the same colours as the ones to the connector
If it is just that the connectors have different layouts then remove each pin & replace in correct positions or just chop the plug & socket off & join respective wires with crimp terminals
As long as it has the correct number of wires going to the right places it should be alright as they all have similar specifications

I hope this helps, if so please mark as helpful.
Positive comments always appreciated

Simple pinout help

Front Panel Header pin assignments as follows:

Pins 2 + 4 = Power Led

Pins 6 + 8 = Power Switch

Pins 12 + 14 = LAN Activity Led

Pins 1 + 3 = HDD Led

Pins 5 + 7 = Reset Switch

Pin 9 = +5v

Pins 11 + 13 = ODD Led

Pin formation is as below with no pin in position 10.

2 4 6 8 10 12 14

1 3 5 7 9 11 13

You will probably need to extend the Front Panel connector cable to reach the header pins on a replacement motherboard - I did this with 2 x N76HL 10 pin extension cables (male to female) from Maplin.
