I have a GE dishwasher and it will not pump the final water out of the washer. There is standing water on the bottom after it stops. Any suggestions?

-   I have the same problem. I push start and nothing happens. I have to go through a sequence of holding the heated drying button for several seconds, and even then it only runs on China/Crystal. The reset button will not work. Does anyone have a manual??

-   The lights will sometimes all be on. After opening and closing the door, the lights go back to normal and the dishwasher works fine. -   Daisysprocke

One answer is NEVER buy another GE product!!! I bought all GE Profile appliances when I redecorated my kitchen. Have had issues with every single piece. Refrigerator has been replaced twice (on 3rd one). Triton XL dishwasher will not reset...good luck getting it back to normal wash if you change a cycle...for example to run just a rinse. It is almost impossible to get it to reset. And don't get me started on the over the stove microwave. Never have been able to use the lights. Every time from day one I turn them on, the bulbs blow and the cover shatters. Absolutely no support from GE!!!

My sister sat for our daughters, and later told us she just couldn't get the washer to work. Now, when trying to start a cycle, all the lights on the buttons change as I push other buttons -- every light comes on at some point, including delayed wash lights... Reset doesn't work, but also changes the buttons to green on/off, too.
