Question about Whirlpool Dishwashers
Does not want to drain. If I push the cancel/drain button several times eventually most of the water will drain out.
1st i would remove the hose that goes from the dishwasher to the sink.(the drain hose) hooks up to your disposer or your plumbing under sink. remove that hose and clean out both ends could be something clogged their. i see that every day. if both ends r clear then id say your pump is bad or your pump is clogged up.hope this helps

Have you tried canceling the cycle? To cancel, turn the on/off switch to on, then press and hold for three seconds the two buttons labeled "Cancel Drain". Keep the door closed for the next minute so that the dishwasher can complete the cycle. During this time the pump will remove any water from the washer. Also you will notice that Bosch dishwashers always leave a little water in the system to keep the seals from drying out and going bad.
Hope this helps
