Your connection from the computer is lost. Check cable connections.

If this helps, check back and give me a good rating

My dell 470 wont boot up every thing seems to be working but when i turn on i get a blank screen and no signal displayed Edward

This means that your monitor is not receiving a signal from your graphics card.
Here are the things that you can try:
-Disconnect and reconnect your monitor from your computer.
-Try using a different cable to connect your monitor to your computer.
-Try connecting your monitor to another computer, if it works there it means that there's a problem with your graphics card and it may require a replacement. If your monitor is still saying no signal even if it has been connected to another computer that works fine then the problem is with the monitor.

No Display

Check if the monitor is ok.
Disconnect it from PC. Power on the monitor.
Does it say "No Input Signal" or something like that ?

If it does, means monitor is good.
Reconnect it to PC.

Restart the PC. When its booting up, tap the specified key to go to BIOS.
(bios key varies with different motherboards. check the manual. usually its F1, F2, F10, F11 or Ctrl+Alt+Del).

If even the bios page doesnt show up, means some issue with motherboard.

Open the chassis.
Disconnect power & data cables going to motherboard.
Reconnect them the same way.

See if it helps. Otherwise get the mobo checked by a professional for repair.

Screen will not stay on, getting message no input signal

The message input signal means no signal is being feed to the monitor.
Check the cable use to connect the monitor to the video card.. fix and secure the connection.
If the computer is reading and you know its working, check the video card.
Turn off the CPU disconnect the video card from the motherboard and reconnect.
Try to open your CPU and see if it reacts with your monitor. If nothing happens replace your video card

GRAY BOX SAYS NO SIGNAL AND IT GOES ON AND OFF

Hello,

The monitor is not getting a video signal from the computer (if it is connected to a computer)

Try the following steps first:

1 Turn off power and disconnect power cables from the computer
2 Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds
3 Reconnect power cables and try to turn it on.

If everything remains same, the next step will be to re-seat memory modules.

LCD monitor (viewsonic va720) "No signal"

You will need to disconnect the VGA cord that is connecting the monitor to the hard drive. Once you have that disconnected, try attaching another cord to determine if the cord is the issue. If you dont have another cord to test, then you will have to purchase another one from your local computer parts store and attach to determine if that is the issue you are having.

If the cord does not work, then you will have to take your monitor into a repair shop as there maybe an issue with the receiving port on the monitor.

I hope this was helpful and thanks for asking the experts.

"Check signal cable" appears on the screen. I have disconnected

The cable that connects the MONITOR to the COMPUTER is loose or disconnected. Check the monitor cable at both ends. (not the wireless switch, router or modem).

Why do I get a "No Signal" on my Acer x193w monitor?

sounds like a video card issue.  Check the screen on another computer.  If it is doing the same thing, it is the monitor.  If it doesn't, then you have a video card issue
