If the video playback on your Windows Vista-based PC is choppy, fix the issue without replacing the graphics card.
Tweaking the video driver can smooth video playback.
This is accomplished by changing the hardware acceleration settings of your PC.
Changing the hardware acceleration settings tells your computer that video is more important to you than other background tasks, such as defragmenting software or other third-party programs.
Right-click anywhere on the desktop and choose "personalize."
Click on "display settings," followed by "advanced settings."

Click "troubleshoot," followed by "change settings."
Move the notch on the performance meter to the left one section over.
This will change the Hardware acceleration settings to optimize video playback.
Play your video.
If performance does not improve, continue moving the performance meter to the left until playback improves.

I'm having problems with video playback

Hi. Does it happen in all videos titles or just one film? If it only happen in only one video then the film or video is corrupted. If it happens in all videos when you play then try reinstalling the graphics driver. Hope it helps!
