Question about Linksys Wireless-N WRT150N Router
2 computers playing bf2, one has major lag while other is good, online same server. we have cox high speed internet, moto sb5100 modem and links wrt150n. how to fix and is it a ip prob or do we need another internet hook up.
Well, since one is playing Battefield well, and the other is not, I do not think that the lag is from the connection, but from the machine itself.. Probably the NIC or the Processor tied to the NIC..
The first thing I would do is try upgrading the Drivers for the NIC.. If you are running this through a wireless connection, try hard wiring it directly to the router and see if you still have a degraded response.. If no, then it is the WiFi adapter that is causing the issue, and I would consider again, first updating the drivers, or replacing the WiFi Nic..
Lots to consider here, but those would be my first steps to take..
