Estimate (do in your head):
130 x 110 =
(130 x 100) plus (130 x 10) =

13,000 + 1,300 = 14,300

(actual 109 x 129 = 14,061)

Estimate by rounding to the nearest hundred

118+146

Round 118 to the nearest hundred. Look at the number to the right of the hundreds column. If it is 5 or greater, add 1 to the hundreds column. If not, don't add 1 to the hundreds column. Make all columns to the right of the hundreds column 0. Since the number in the tens column is 1, we don't add 1 to the 1 and make the 1 and 8 zeros, so we get 100.

We do the same with 146. 4 is less than 5, so we just change the 4 and 6 to 0 and get 100.

We now add 100 and 100 and get our estimate of 200.

Good luck.

Data saving error

Per Avanquest: We have found out that this randomly happens due to an interruption in saving the data in MyInvoices and Estimates Deluxe version 10. We recommend that you do the following steps:Go to the Task Manager. On the Applications tab, click on MyInvoices and Estimates.Click on End Task.Relaunch MyInvoices and Estimates.Create a new invoice/estimate and save it.
If that fails to resolve the issue, you should also try the following:

Close MyInvoices and Estimates.Restart your computer.Relaunch MyInvoices and Estimates.Create a new invoice/estimate and save it.

Note: The task you need to end is MIED.exe

I have a 24by52inche pool how much salt do i puy in it to keep the water clear

on http://poolcalculator.com/ I estimated your pool water depth at 4' in a 24' diameter round pool and the calculator estimated the water volume to be 14700 gal. I then entered the concentration of salt now as 0 and the goal as 3500 ppm. The estimated amount of salt was 431 lbs. The pool calaulator page also calculates many other amounts that may be helpful to you in the future. I hope this helps.

Please feel free to rate this response. Thank you.
